Maybe it's because I'm one of the youngest members of the list, but at
the age of 33 I've learned one really important lesson not to long ago.
That lesson is to forgive and forget. In the past I've gone
keyboard-to-keyboard with Ken, Chuck, e-richie, and a host of other
folks. Sometimes I've just had to drop a subject or swallow my own
pride just to make peace and it has always been worth it in the end. I
think Ken's arrival back to the list put quite a few people on the
defensive and both Mitzi and I noticed a certain level of nit-pickyness
of Ken's posts by other members. I think a lot of folks read
condescension in Ken's brusk manner. I feel he has shown a lot more
restraint in answering peoples criticisms and nit-picks than the people
making those criticisms and nit-picks. Again maybe I'm just too young
and forgiving, but then I value information more than I value my ego or
the need to be right.
best,
