Subject: [CR]Warning!! Fake Campagnolo No Name Brakes! Warning!!

I know of someone who has made several pair of FAKE Campagnolo No Name brakesets by buffing off the name and having them reannodized. A pair was receintly listed on Ebay, other pairs have been sold on Campyonly.com. Before you send your money , who ever you are who bought the last pair , ( Auction was ended early by seller to sell directly to you, that way seller will avoiding the problem of more negative feedback ). Note the difference between the FAKE ones VS the REAL ones. This difference was astutely pointed out by Jack Bissell at the last Giro de Gino gathering. (The CENTER BOLT on the real ones is SQUARE on the end facing forwared on the brake). The newer models with the name Campagnolo on them have the end of the center bolt tapered. I think Campagnolo tapered the bolt to save some weight. Good Luck,
