Recommendations from Reg Stocking on dying a honey-colored Brooks :

Fiebing's Profession Oil Dye comes in lots of colors. For an antique brown color on a honey-colored Brooks use Antique Brown. First clean the saddle with water and Murphy's Oil Soap using a brush lightly (if very greasy use alcohol). Mix 1 part dye to 4 parts denatured alcohol (dye is too strong straight out of the bottle). Apply dye while saddle is still damp. Let dry. Apply more dye if darker shade is desired.
