Not sure I agree. My recollection is that the Newest and Finest were of comparable quality, but the Finest had more relaxed geometry and was a touring/all-around model, while the Newest was a tighter geometry racing model. I recall the Ace being of the same quality as the Finest and Newest, but having Dura-Ace rather than SunTour/Sugino components.
