Regarding the Bottechia, I emailed the seller. He sounds like he's sort of angling for an appraisal more than trying to sell the thing. Also, he's in Sacramento, so I probably won't go look at it. Here's what he was able to offer in the way of details:

"Ok ... I took another look.

The wheels (at least the rear wheel), has a decal that says "Mavic". Glue on tires. Derailleur says Campagnolo Pecord Main sproket says Nervar - Star Handlebars are marked Carnielli Brakes are Universal"
