Dear friends:
It's official! I have purchased my plane ticket to Greensboro, NC for the Cirque. Through the kindness of one of my good friends I will be at the Battleground for all of the fun and games. I'm planning to bring my fixed gear road bike to ride and am looking forward to the riding portion of the event.
I just thought I'd give everyone fair warning that the area will NOT be safe for anyone who isn't comming to have a GREAT time and meet new friends or refresh old ones. No one needs me to proclaim how fantastic this event has become. It gets much better every year. There will be a very high concentration of American framebuilders present, if that is of any interest to anyone. If EVER there was a time to make an extra effort to participate, it is NOW!
Are we excited yet? I don't know about anyone else, but I can hardley contain myself. Or maybe I'm just getting FAT.

Some of the photos show Adrian Arao, my helper when I was painting Richard Sachs and Dave Tesch frames at that time. Adrian is now working with painter extraordinare Joe Bell; which means he's painting Richard Sachs frames again 20 yeaRS later!! YO, Adrian!
