I found a great web-site, through a fellow I sold a crank to, that has some excellent pictures and explanations of what happens when the notorious stress-riser on Record cranks is not filed into a nice, fat radius, but rather is challenged continuously under high loads. As clear an explanation of why we should *all* make a radius there as I've ever seen.
I know we've been through this before, but I thought this site was especially clear and compelling.
