Subject: [CR]Tour de France 100th Anniversary Exhibition in Paris

I am assisting the Societe du Tour de France / A.S.O. (the company that owns the race) with an exhibition at Paris City Hall that celebrates the 100th anniversary of the TdF. The exhibition begins mid June and runs through August and will feature photos and objects of the race spanning 1903-present. There are a few items that are still needed to fill a couple of “holes”. I am hopeful that someone or several people on the CR list might be willing to lend items from their respective collections to complete the TdF’s wish list:

Pump – pre 1940

Road Helmet – pre 1940

Shorts – 1920’s, 1930’s, 1940’s

Gloves - 1920’s, 1930’s, 1940’s

It is not important that the items are attributed to any specific rider. The important thing is the time period. All items will be fully insured by the Tour de France. Ideally, the TdF would like to have these items in hand within the next few weeks.
