Subject: [CR]Clamp-on Brake(s) Needed???

I've got a classic pursuit bike with undrilled seat stay bridge and forks. It's going to stay that way. How can I install one or more brakes temporarily until I'm confident enough of my fixed gear riding skills to do without it/them? Since this will be a temporary fix, correct period usage, etc. take a back seat to functionality.

Just to make the problem more interesting, a front drum brake appears to be out of the question. The front wheel is a 650c and rims in this size seem to come drilled for a maximum of 32 spokes. All the front drum brakes I've seen are 36 hole. Harvey Sachs kindly suggested that I gut his 32 hole Dynahub and perform a drum brake transplant but I hesitate to take advantage of this offer. Dynahubs, themselves, are on the endangered species list these days and I'm reluctant to destroy one.

Clamp-on brake(s)??? Does anyone have one or more for sale or know where I can buy one? Is there another solution that I've overlooked? Any and all help gratefully appreciated.
