I never had luck with Campy headsets, brinnelling themselves in no time for me. My hot setup was the Galli needle bearing headset. As far as I was concerned it still made for an all Campy bike. All the parts were Campianissimo! ;^) My Sachs tourer would still have that headset if I hadn't tried to take apart the bearing race to clean it. Anyone got the bottom end of a Galli they don't need?
I especially like to see bikes that were modified to the max in the period of the frame, the detail work of Chris Kvale in those parts, drillium. Love it!
