There's a company that makes bbs that probably has either: an off the shelf
item, or can cost effectively make one the right length. I can't think of the
name of the company. The axles are plain shank and you tighten a machined
collar to act as a bearing stop so it's infinitely adjustable. I have a
couple of the Ti axles and they're pretty beefy. Perhaps someone can come up
with the name of the off topic company?
