Question : Is this the only such type of bike to ever come stock with
engraved decorations (beyond serial no's and BB cutouts, of course)

The Chesini Olimpiade had their name, model and the Olympic rings engraved in the head tube, as well as Olympic rings engraved in the lugs and top eyes. Grandis was also big on the engraving thing and, on later models, had an engraved logo in the head tube, as well as lots of engraving and cut-outs scattered throughout the frame.
