Construction of this bike is very similar to that on my 1963 Olmo. The chrome seat tube and ends match the chrome on the Olmo. Also note you could make the Olmo headlugs using the Bruno Bianchi lugs. And there's a chrome clamp-style seat post binder on both bikes.
Not entirely clear in this photo, but the slot in the fork crown and the decal beneath it are very similar to those on the 1963 Olmo:

I've read that Olmo was known as "The Schwinn of Italy" because of the wide range of bikes produced. Possibly this bike has a connection to Olmo? I've written Olmo to ask if they ever produced a bike under that label.
There was a famous Olympic swimmer from Trieste by the name Bruno Bianchi. He died in a plane crash at age 23, about 1960. Maybe like Bottecchia, these bikes were named for a departed hero?
