I have watched Gary's bidding with some amazement for some time and must admit that it is not that far-fetched, as all it takes is for a couple items to go unbid for one reason or another and he can walk away with a real steal. Not my way of doing things, but it can be effective. What I find more boggling are the people who on the last day of bidding place multiple bids. I have witnessed some bidders place up to 20 bids on an object on the last day and still not win the auction.
