Yes, I can confirm that. I was at the '95 Milan trade show and the Santini booth must of had 75 different vintage reproduction jerseys that were made for the Coppi movie. There were so many I didn't bother checking them out because I figured they would be available for sale in the US at some later date (much, much later it turns out ;)
Wheelsmith in Palo Alto had the Coppi movie (theatrical movie on his life) on two video cassettes. Not a very good movie in my opinion. The actors version of bike racing was pretty laughable but they guy who was Coppi looked a LOT like Coppi.
