I shouldn't have sent the message. Right away the next eBay buy I did turned out to be a fraud. The "Nouvo Record" hubs I bought (item 3607800148) are in fact modified Nouvo Tipo hubs with hand drilled oil holes and Record skewers. Even better the high resolution pics (hosted at the seller's private web site) that now show the differences and the Tipo box weren't available when I used the buy now option. Unbelievable...

eBay went smoothly. The one exception was an ITM seat post sold mistakenly
as Campagnolo but I got the money back without problems.

> However you have to know that nearly nobody in Germany including bike shop
staff knows anything about vintage lightweights. From the sellers of
interesting stuff 90% don't know what they have and underestimate the value
(remember the 399,- 1960 Masi?), 9% don't know what they have and
overestimate the value grossly and the rest is from Carsten Rehbein.
