Hi, Jerry and all.
Years ago (in 60's) there are two width of chains, 1/8" for fixed and 3 or 4 speed gears(cog cluster), and 5 speed required 3/32" (narrower chains).
After 6 speed, 7 speed cogs are getting common, there are many different chainns available, simply says "for 7 speed". I also noticed that sme newer chains has "bent" or opend link wall rather than flat/straight, are these still same as 5 speed 3/32" size chain, do they work well with old 5 speed??
I know at least 10 or 9 speed chain do not work well(or at all) with our C-R period 5-6 speed cogs. What about 7 speed chain, is there a such thing??
Thanks in advance!
