The weather gods finally smiled upon me and I got my first 20 miles today on my new Waterford.

I don't know if it is materials, fit, geometry or what, but I've never ridden a bike quite so wonderful. My 531 Trek is cool and rides nice, but it never jumped out and flew when I pedaled, not like this.
It will be interesting riding the Montelatici, which was pretty much a high end bike for it's day, and comparing how it rides and handles to something made in the old way, but with new technology.
