Keep your brightwork & paint, waxed and your bikes dry, folks!
TreWax and other quality furniture waxes with Carnuba do a good job of keeping moisture out of scratches.
And its cheap..... Out here good hard drying waxes are available at estate sales marked a dime or two bits for 5usd or 10usd--per nearly full can.
And it just might also cut the air resistance of your bike's forward & windward surfaces.
At Wright-Pat AFB 30 years ago I was shown a vast hanger that only held one C-47. It belonged to the base commander and was being waxed. I was told that it was waxed and polished every day which increased the crusing air-speed by 65 mph.
