about a half year ago chris and i were offlist emailing and he asked about some early correspondence that i had kept relevant to some 70s frame orders i placed with W.B. Hurlow. i agreed to xerox and send them to him as time allowed. par for the course, i addressed an envelope to him to keep at my desk as a reminder that i owed him these papers. well-the months ticked by and the envelope stayed near or at the top of the pile of 'things to get to when time permits...' but i never pulled the letters and i never hit the xerox machine. i put together a folder for him for cirque but he noted he'd not be attending so now the folder has been at the desk for almost a month.
seems like sooner or later we all get the word that a friend or family member has suddenly died and we're hit with disbelief that there was still some unfinished business to take care of.
thanks for reading.
