Chuck, I never said that Twigg was not "on topic". She most likely is. If so, however, it is incongruous for you to simultaneously argue that this forum can accommodate discussions of those that raced classic bicycles, and yet not accommodate discussions on the motivations of those that have built, or continue to build them. You're in a glass house arguing this, and getting ready to pick up another stone. If not, then it would appear as if you are simply arguing in order to steer the course of the discussion only to that which you prefer, and well, I think the tent is certainly big enough to house us all, don't you think?
Oh, and Bruce, a little "airy- fairy philosophizing" every now and them is a good thing. Keeps you from getting too serious about these topics, and helps keep you from "getting really pissed off". Not as well as Scotch, however. California reds always anger up the blood. Read you in the morning.
