Russ Fitzgerald queried:

The "3 or 4" trigger differed from the "4 speed" only in terms of marketing; functionally they're the same.
It would theoretically be possible to carve an extra notch on a 3 speed trigger's cam, but I don't think it is practical.
Hugh Enox inquired:
>Is it possible to modify a readily available SA trigger to work properly

Any 4-speed trigger will work if you just don't use position "2."
I run my ASC with a SunTour non-indexed BarCon, works dandy.
