I'm happy to discover that the Gino Bartali museum has posted pictures of it's "1947 Stucchi" with Simplex front mech, P-R rear mech, wooden rims, Universal Extra:

Ever since first reading the Buzatti book on the 1949 Giro I've wondered about Stucchi (translated - it sticks).
