Greeting listmembers, I've been lurking for several months. I'm choosing this for my inaugural post since it's a subject close to my heart. I always repair tubulars, but then I patch innertubes, too. IMO, the three vital tools for tubular repair are:
1. seam ripper (from a sewing store) 2. speedy stitcher (an awl type sewing device) 3. curved-nose hemostat (handy for holding the edges together as you sew)
I usually do repairs in front of the TV, so it's not a total waste of time.
