I wrote my mention of 1987 , and the Campagnolo Timeline , and the last year Super Record was made , before I read what Steve and Dave had written .

I would still vote for 1985 , I think .

But , I do feel that picking a year from one of these , would absolutely make the most sense :

Steve, Dale, et al. I think there is due merit for the comment below. Keeping the end date as the last year Campagnolo SR components were spec'd is concise enough to include CR list ethos, yet it also is fuzzy enough to allow the likes of Modolo Kronos brakesets, C-Record stuff, 7-sp FWs, and other important components mentioned by other list members.
