Subject: [CR]RE: Jo Routens on E-bay

I'm looking for some enlightenment on the Routens listed on Ebay.

My limited experience with Routens is that the bikes were fillet brazed, had double plate crowns, hellenic stays and triangular gussets where the seat tube and downtube joined the BB.

The E-bay bike has a lugged headtube, rather crude fork crown and lacks the hellenic stays. Having only seen 3 of these bikes, I am no expert, but this one runs so counter to what I understood his trademark building details to be that I would appreciate a little enlightenment from someone that knows. Jan? Anyone??
