Just realized I've been on the list a few weeks and haven't introduced myself. I'm 49, been into bikes since teenage years when I hung out at the local Delaware Schwinn shop and talked over my head with reps for Raleigh and Bill Boston. Used to ride more regularly when I lived in Colorado, but waylaid by grad schools and health issues into more of a collecting and fixup mode. Trying to get back to more riding again.... Current bikes include a '74 Raleigh International, '78 Zeus Criterium (anyone got a source for replacement brake hoods for 2000 levers?) and a Rivendell Long Low. Current projects: '70 Raleigh Competition with chrome nervex and Zeus crank tinto a fixed wheel, and '54 Holdsworth Cyclone frame into a hub geared 'round town bike. Favorite past bike was a late 70s Columbine with stainless lugs and SR titanium parts. The ride was marvelous, but a bit small and steep angled and thus sold. Wish I still had it.
