....so on a whim, i picked up one of the Aquila frames from Jack van Gent. the workmanship on the frame is NOT what i would call superb, but it will work just fine for a back-up bike. i'll try to get some picts soon. at any rate, all the threads are english, BUT the steerer id is 22.0 - french! so i need a 22.0 quill stem with aprox 100mm reach and either 25.4 or 26.0 bar clamp. cosmetics are not important since this ain't no show stopper.
the frame is decaled as columbus main tubes and seatpost appears to be a 27.0. i've got a SR Custom in 26.8 that i was planning to use if anyone wants to swap. again, cosmetics not important here. bonus points awarded for something funky and euro (Zeus, GPM, Galli, etc....)
