Guys/ Gals:
I am considering the purchase of what I believe to be a mid 70's SW Cotten frame and am trying to find info about the builder/value etc. The guy with whom I am negotiating says he bought the farme while a Georgetown Cycle Sport employee in the late 70's. He says the shop was run by Larry Black and a guy named Les Welch. I think Larry may be a member of this list (???). The frame is quite unique...its lugless but the joints are what appear to a smooth, contiguous brass (or something) joint. It has the remnants of a 531 sticker and is a turquoise color. Other than small chips the paint is in tact and the "Cotten" logos appear to be handpainted. It has a mish mash of Campagnolo NR and some Zeus stuff. It has been stored the last few years. I have seen some Cottens on Ebay and they look pretty Holdsworthian mid-70's engllish generic---this one does not have that look.....any info would be appreciated. I'll post pics if I can get them.
