As I mentioned , not too long ago I procured a 1962 or 1963 Schwinn Superior ( Thanks Brian !! ) .
On the seat tube , not far above the bottom bracket , touching the Schwinn "Chrome Molybdenum" decal , is a bicycle shop decal :

Does this bring back any memories for anyone out there ??
Thanks !

This is a hand-made , fillet-brazed , 15-speed . The serial number is J2077 , stamped into the left rear drop-out , Paramount style . The front fork is all-chrome ( with a very interesting high-quality fork crown ) . The rear stays have short sections of chrome , extending only three inches beyond the drop-outs . The drop-outs , front and rear are Huret forged .

Mine is "Violet" , which happens to be a "flamboyant" or "radiant" color .
