Carrying a SPARE rear derailleur ( rear derailer , rear changer , rear gear , rear mech. ) !
Now I understand !
And at first I just thought it was a mistake !
( think how cool it would be if the lettering were on the OUTER sides of BOTH of those rear drop-outs - now THAT would make the experts start to gossip ! )
Just imagine how much weight you could save if BOTH of your rear derailleurs were super-extra-light !!
Two ( 2 ) Huret Jubilee rear derailleurs , or perhaps two ( 2 ) first-generation Campagnolo Super Record rear derailleurs , would save TWICE as much weight !! !!
Just think about it !
Better yet ,
Just think twice about it !
