Carrying a SPARE rear derailleur ( rear derailer , rear changer , rear gear , rear mech. ) !

Now I understand !

And at first I just thought it was a mistake !

( think how cool it would be if the lettering were on the OUTER sides of BOTH of those rear drop-outs - now THAT would make the experts start to gossip ! )

Just imagine how much weight you could save if BOTH of your rear derailleurs were super-extra-light !!

Two ( 2 ) Huret Jubilee rear derailleurs , or perhaps two ( 2 ) first-generation Campagnolo Super Record rear derailleurs , would save TWICE as much weight !! !!

Just think about it !

Better yet ,
