I'm a Mafac desecrator and apostate and it works
great--1st generation Mafac Competitions with the
later drilled levers, braided inner wires,
compressionless housing, and Kool Stop Eagle Claw
pads. As a former Californian, I will defend
re-specing Mafacs as in the Spence Wolf tradition.
Sometime in the near future, the Mafac calipers will
be activated by Campagnolo Centaur ergo levers.
