Hi all, I recently received my new Mercian frameset that I ordered a few months back. Some of you may recall that I had it built to "Atlantis" specs and to that end it came out great. There was also a general consensus on the list that Mercian's were not quite up to the build quality of the Rivendells, but for the price you couldn't really go wrong.

The is one glaring sore spot on the frame, at least to me. When looking at the frame from the front, the "points" on the headtube lugs are not aligned with one another and are not centered on the frame. The lower head lugs point is skewed a bit to the left, the upper lugs point is off to the right. Further compounding this "look" is the head tube decal is off to the left a bit.
