Reputation and reality are two separate things. I've ridden more Zeus than anything for 30 years, and never had a Zeus part fail. Never had a Zeus crank crack - I can't say the same of Campy NR cranks. And 1970 was before the release of the Zeus 2000 gruppo, which unlike Campy SR, actually made INTELLIGENT use of titanium.
