I am helping a senior lady who has no use for her beloved custom Alpine. She has close to $2000 invested and I told her I thought $900 would move it to the right person, and a little less a little faster., and a lot less a lot faster. While she's in no hurry, I've volunteered the space til it sells, so let's find a home.

Alpine frame, Columbus SL/531 butted combo. Campy 1010B dropouts with rack eyes front and rear. Bill Boston design, 24" front wheel, 700c rear. (I know many say 'Terry' style, but we ol'timers know that BB was the first in modern times to use this style to eliminate toe clip overlap and have a shorter top tube) Medium green Imron metallic, braze on bottle bosses over and under downtube, dt shift bosses, Campy bb tunnels top of bb, triple tt cable guides, Seat tube enter/top 19.5", tt center/center 19" Cut out lugs, engraved fork crown (J on one side, V on other, can be filled easily) Great vintage parts, all in excellent condition, Forged Sugino AT crankset triple, rare 165 size Superbe Pro brakes- standard reach, recessed bolt style. Nitto Technomic stem Specialized front hub cartridge sealed, Supepchamp Gent rims (unlabeled, maybe similar) Blackburn rear carrier- original style, c. 1981

slightly more modern equipmernt/creature comforts: Deore casette rear hub, 8sp casette, Deore original r der- approx 1992, 4" alloy riser bars, grip shift, upright brake levers. 29" standover.

Everything works great and looks great, appearance with a mild wax job would be a strong 8.5/10 considering the classic nature of the unit.
