Didn't track have 8 flats on the adj cup? Or was there some other difference? Drilled out upper cone? I can't recall but I think I recall there being a difference in the catalog 18.

Chuck is probably correct that this is a Sport headset, but I've always called this (two flats, unmarked cups, 5/32" loose balls) a Gran Sport headset. Is "Sport" the correct name for what is commonly called the Grand Sport headset, just like "Record" is the correct name for most NR parts?

For certain this is not Victory. Victory did have two flats, but otherwise it was very similar to NR, including the major markings on the cups. The Triomphe was very similar to, if not identical to the GS... or Sport... you know the one.

We also called this the track headset, did we not? Larry Black Mt Airy, Md
