I had been told it was spelled as "Pela" before, one "L" not two. Sure this is the same hombre? Eddy Merckx could easily just have spelled it inkorrrectly.

I suspect my 1962 Masi Special was possibly built by Pella. I would almost give anything to know for sure. It deffinitly was not (as far as my current knowledge goes) made in Milan, since mine has the "A" stamp.

Hi Grant, Yes Giuseppe Pella. Brett also mentioned that Kessels was very adept at building in the style of other builders such as Ernesto Colnago or Ugo De Rosa for instance.
