I am the President of the Crescent City Cyclists in New Orleans, a 200 member bicycle touring club. We have both city and country rides each Saturday and Sunday plus a number of riders that like to help out of town cyclists. New Orleans (and the surrounding countryside) is a great place for cycling! If you want to save the trouble of bringing your own bike there is a local shop that will rent you Univega or something similar for a reasonable price.
