Howard,

The only thing more I can tell you about those lugs is that I never liked them. Not that there is anything wrong with them, just never liked the shape, which can't be altered to something more pleasing on account of the cutouts. In general I prefer lugs without cutouts, so I can doe what I want with them. Usually things that are already there don't look the way I like, I prefer my own designs and locations.

One lug I haven't seen any discussion about is Hayden Long point lugs. They are very long with side windows and a small heart cut out. There is a reference to hayden blanks on the CR page.

I have them on my 1976 Serotta that I bought in 1977. I have always liked these.

I would like to know more.
