All this talk about Raleigh Internationals lately, and today a fellow brought one in to the shop for consignment. So I am offering it to the list first. It is a 1973 in the Champagne color, 22 1/2" frame. All original but missing the Campy pedals and Brooks seat (no, I didn't scarf them!) and has had its wheels rebuilt onto some period correct 27" Weinmann Concaves, the narrow ones. This must have been done a long time ago as the galvanized spokes have greyed. Paint is so-so, scratched from normal use, but decals are pretty much intact and chrome on frame and parts is excellent, strangely all except the top Campy headset cup which has had the chrome flaked off of it and rusted. Those can be readily found though. If anyone is interested let me know and I will take some pics and post them after I clean it up a bit. I am thinking of asking $375 for starters. This one is worth repainting if someone wanted to go that far with it, or just keep as is for a nice no-worries daily driver. Not as nice as the one that just sold on ebay but nearly as complete and not as expensive either.
