Ah, the joys of varnish "fixing"!!

I just did my first attempt at this... got the 531 fork blade ones on a treat but the seat tube one is off centre!!! Once it's fixed, it's done. A pain.

Anyway, cotton wool is a just plain "cotton" or a cotton "ball" to we Americans. White turps is Varsol or just paint thinner. We need a proper and comprehensive British Bicycle vocabulary lesson on this site... four-speed "blocks", seat "pillars" and "prop stands" (well I jolly well hope none of those wretched things on a lightweight!)...

Just DO take extra care and effort in placing the transfer first... the process is easy once you get the hang of it but the placement can be a *****!
