ann im right there with ya girlfriend my so insists on getting me mostly mundane everyday sorta things for gifts thinking i can get anything bike related i want anytime well thats cuz bike things r what i like! why dont they get that? keep sending links to vintage sites cycling catalogs and vintage pricesheets close to times it might be appropriate fr gifting to no avail (and yes ive come right out and made mention of prefering bike related items-but ya gotta be careful there "does that mean u didnt want that wool scarf i knitted fr u?") id even prefer a bike related widget fr valentines (maybe a schwinn sweetheart skip-tooth sprocket painted red, a sweet little bell or nice old headbadge) really peace
