I guess that is one point of view Lou. But I think I had mentioned that deal a total of two occasions before yesterday , though there were several postings exchanged on each ocassion. One was to state that I had been forced to file a PayPal complaint at the 30 day deadline in the case of a second German eBay seller who didn't deliver within 30 days. That fact is clear and uncontested. The second was to state that PayPal had determined the seller was at fault and obtained a partial refund of the price. That fact is clear and uncontested. Both facts are of interest to list members who buy on eBay or pay with PayPal, so in my opinion it is appropriate to state those fact here. And since it was classic Zeus parts that I was purchasing, the matter is clearly on topic.

It was a mistake to engage in a debate yesterday about wheter Positive or Neutral feedback is appropriate, and I will not debate it further. The feedback I leave will be an honest reflection of my opinion and no one else's. This debate distracted from the essential point of my posting yesterday, which was to update the facts in fairness to Klaus. The facts posted previously, which again are clear and uncontested, were that he had not delivered within 30 days of payment and that PayPal had determined he was at fault and had secured a partial refund from him. Those facts left it in doubt as to whether he had in fact shipped the goods as he said. This would have made made some readers reluctant to buy from him. When the goods were finally received yesterday, I felt it only fair to update the facts to make it clear that he did in fact ship the goods, although they did not arrive until exactly 6 weeks after payment for them was made. Having accurately reported the previous facts which cast Klaus in a negative light, I thought fairnees demanded I report new facts which cast him in a better light. Those considering purchases should know that my experience with him does not now indicate a failure to ship good paid for, although buyers may still choose not to buy from him if they consider a 6 week wait too long.

If PayPal allowed more than 30 days to file a complaint, I might have waited two more weeks and received the goods before deciding to file a complaint. But they do not, and neither Klaus nor any seller has a right to ask a buyer to forfeit his PayPal rights by waiting past the complaint deadline. PayPal must solve this problem. I cannot. Having now received the goods, I will refund the refund to Klaus as soon as the credit appears on my MasterCard. Some buyers might have simply kept the goods and the partial refund and said nothing, justifying this to themselves by saying it was compensation "for their inconvenience". I don't do that. So I will pay for the goods again and I have updated the facts in the same forum where I revealed the previously known facts. I owe him that. That is all I owe him.

> Jerry, I agree, the problem here is attitude and willingness to accept responsibility. The fact is that you drug this guy into the mud with your multiple rantings about this deal, wasting our time, tarnishing his reputation, and all because you have no patience or trust. So, I hope you are in fact accepting responsibility and you offer him an apology and positive feedback. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
