I've had one of those on-the-road-to-Damascus type conversions and realised that I have too many projects and not enough time to do anything with them. I've narrowed them down to the ones I can't bear to part with and have decided to sell the rest.
These frames have been in my lock-up for a few years and I haven't seen most of them for quite a while. However, they're all nice and straight and I can't remember any having any dents or dings. Obviously, if there is any interest, I'd thoroughly check the frame over before any deal was agreed-I'll have to confirm the sizes as well. I haven't got any pictures yet but I'd be happy to take them as and when required. I'd also be happy to listen to offers for any of these frames.
1983 Mercian Superlight track frame (same as Chuck's at http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/
1949 Hobbs of Barbican fillet-brazed. A super club frame with its original blue finish. The paintwork is at the stage where I'd have retouched it to keep it authentic rather than have it repainted. 22-inch, £80
1949 Hobbs same as above in green. This one could do with refinishing, £65
1952-ish Maclean's Featherweight. 23-inch, rear der stop on chainstay, needs refinishing, nice lugs (NOT the Apollo model though), £60
1950s Claud Butler fillet brazed. 23-inch, refinished in green. I used this as my thrice-weekly commuter for a while. Lovely ride. Single DT gear lever braze-on and rear stop. £50
Late 50s/early 60s Rudge Pathfinder Phase III (essentially the same as Dale's at http://www.classicrendezvous.com/
1950-ish FC Parkes. A fairly uncommon frame-at least in Scotland. 22-inch. Forks have been replaced at some stage in the dim and distant past. Quite nice lugs. In need of restoration. £30
Thanks for getting this far! I'll probably have a few more frames for sale in a week or two so stay tuned.
