Wonderful! Nothing more enjoyable I say that a good 'dust up between two great names and nations in cycling. Simplex vs. Campagnolo, France vs. Italy! Of course I dare say Williams and Sturmey-Archer beats both hands down. Advance Britannia!

It's this wonderful sense of competition that gives me the edge on impromptu roadraces. Nothing quite beats the self-satisfaction of doing your own marque and componentry proud. Race the machine not the man is my credo. No one, no machine beats my '51 Clubman. 'tis the stuff of some of some great races indeed.

Peter Kohler, looking forward to doing Simplex and Peugeot credit when I get
my PX10.
