Subject: [CR]About Mr. David Stow In Florida

This message is intended as a personal comment about Mr. David Stow .

It'll probably embarrass him .

But he deserves the comments !

What a great person ! And , he could teach a workshop in how to pack frame-sets for shipping !

I used to comment "off-list" about buying things from list-members .

I've decided to make my compliments right out in PUBLIC ! I hope Dale does not mind my passing along these comments "on-list" , hopefully for the betterment of all . . .

Late last week I received a box from David Stow . I'd bought a very-very INEXPENSIVE frame-set . Let's be honest here , David's price was cheap-cheap . Despite the cheap price , the packing job was EXCELLENT !!

The frame and front fork were individually protected with foam pipe-insulation and wrapping . There were spacers in the dropouts , front and rear , even though the separate fork was packaged in a way which made it impossible for it to get squished . The frame and fork were fastened to a big sheet of cardboard . The big sheet of cardboard was placed inside a bicycle box . There were plenty of spacers ( mostly polystyrene foam ) to prevent the big sheet of cardboard from moving inside the box . Everything was very secure , and yet very light-weight ( to keep the shipping costs down ) .

SUPER !!

It was a GREAT packing job , even on such an inexpensive ( cheap price , but not low quality ) frame-set !!

Thanks David !!
