There's a good drawing on the Speedplay site

http://www.speedplay.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.history

Scroll right to 1899.

I've seen couple pairs in good pictures, but can't seem to find them now. Most of the ones I've seen very closely resemble the ski bindings from The early 1900's -1940's If you find a set of old skis, you could probably use the bindings. I can take a picture of a ski binding I have here, If you want to make something similar.

Dear All,

here's a request right from the other end of the on topic time frame. Does any member have drawings or pictures or the ability to take pictures of some early toeclips from 1900 - 1910. I'm thinking of the kind of clips that either held the sides of the feet or the short stubby kind that had no strap. I have a very nice 1906 Royal Enfield racer sans toeclips and I'd like to make a suitable pair for some spirited riding this year.

Any information and links gratefully recieved
