Great timing for this subject guys.... here I am sweating the arrival of my Peugeot PX-10, "professionally" packed by a bike shop for an extra $35 (fair enough...) but despite my request it be shipped by FedEx Ground, it's coming by UPS (Unfailingly Punishing Shippers). Maybe the boys in those brown shorts will have taken their frustrations out on their wives or kids this time and not one of my bikes. I hope they can't tell it's a Frenchie.

All the more reason that I am selling my '48 Raleigh Dawn and '51 Rudge Tourist locally, no shipping.. no matter how long it takes. Just the thought of consigning these beauties to a shipper in a cardboard box makes me CRINGE.
