Do any of you know a good way to thoroughly remove clear coat over chrome? I've got an early '70s chrome Colnago that has started to develop cloudy areas in the clear coat and I'd like to strip it off. Searching the archives produced a recent discussion on using lacquer thinner and a thumbnail to carefully remove it over painted areas to preserve original paint, but since I don't have that consideration, I thought there may be a better way. Thanks for any ideas, especially ones that avoid thumbnails.
