As one, I would like to disagree with the posting saying that double
butted spokes are unnecessary for those of use who are full figured guys
and gals. The advantage of DB spokes is not weight saving, but greater
flexibility. All other things being equal, DB spokes will last longer
because they are more able to flex under the pounding of poundage.
